I have a Victron Energy Bluesolar 10A PWM Solar Charge Controller Regulator12V24V connected to a Victron 30w -12 V solar panel. I have not checked on it for several months and now noticed none of the LED lights flickering- used to indicate the state of charge of the batteries. The batteries are fine on checking with multimeter, and panel produce the good stuff, so I presume the charge controller is dead.
Not sure about the innerworkings of the device, but I wonder if any charge gets through to the battery? Is there a risk of overcharging the batteries? Is any charge getting through to the batteries? If I need to replace it, what is the recommended alternative?
