Six boats set off from the Anchorage with their masts down but only four made it out to sea as engine problems caused two yachts to retire.
Under the expert eye of cruise leader John B the NRSC fleet sailed from the Royal Norfolk and Suffolk Yacht Club in Lowestoft to Shotley Marina in Essex to begin a two week adventure. Here are a selection of pictures - all images © NRSC/individual club members
